Beware of Online Furniture Orders!

Think Again!

Howards Interiors has been in business in Stuart, FL for 29 years, primarily because of one thing, customer service. We don't advertise, we rely on the fact that 99% of our customers have such a positive experience, they recommend us to their friends and neighbors.

When people try to save money ordering their furniture on line, they forget that Customer Service does not follow the delivery to their door! They don't install it, inspect it for damages, or repair minor issues. I'm sure these companies have return policies, but that is a little inconvenient. We never deliver furniture unless it is thoroughly inspected and deemed in perfect condition. We deal directly with the manufacturers, with whom we have long term relationships.
Lately, due to the economy and the depressed nature of the furniture business as a whole, we have noticed a dramatic increase in damaged merchandise coming off our trucks. Even high end furniture manufacturers can't afford to stock as much as they used to and need to find ways to cut corners, so it appears that a good deal of the time, they will repair damaged or returned furniture, not replace it. We will not deliver these items to our customers, and sometimes things have to be sent back two and three times! I'm sure many of these damaged articles end up in the hands of their online customers.

Please keep this in mind when ordering online. "Let the Buyer Beware" has never been more true.
